·PS結(jié)尾的問題

　　PS的結(jié)尾在我看來是從過去到將來的一個過渡和展望吧，簡要介紹一下自己的近況，自己在學習工作基礎之上對自己的未來有一個怎樣的規(guī)劃，自己申請去學校以后都研究些什么，自己在學有所成之后有怎樣的職場打算等等，順帶可以吹吹所申請的學校，項目組以及自己的potential academic advisor等等，嘿嘿~~

　　·PS字數(shù)的問題

　　我覺得把PS寫長還是相對來說比較容易的，按照我列出的雛形寫上個三到五段，差不多也得有個1000字左右吧，嘿嘿!然而不同的學校會有不同的要求，這樣實際上有形無形地就把字數(shù)給限制住了。

　　比如ASU的ECE系對PS就有如下要求：

　　Please write a one-page essay describing your academic and career goals. Address the following in your essay:

　　In which specific area do you wish to study?

　　Why should you be admitted to the program?

　　再比如Purdue的ECE系對PS也有要求：

　　A statement of purpose is required for all degree-seeking applicants. Please submit a statement of approximately 300-500 words concerning your purpose for undertaking or continuing graduate study, your reasons for wanting to study at Purdue, and your professional plans, career goals, and research interests. You also may explain any irregularities or special circumstances applicable to your background and elaborate on your special abilities, awards, achievements, scholarly publications, and/or professional history.

　　總而言之，PS要想寫好是需要花費很大心思的，寫了改，改了再改，自己改，別人改，一直到一個大家都認為沒有修改的余地為止;另外，一定注意針對不同的學校撰寫不同的PS。
