　　一、引言

　　Simon: Look, Daming. Tomorrow is Flag Day.

　　Daming: What do you do on Flag Day?

　　Simon: We carry flags and we sing songs.

　　Daming: Can you tell me more about American festivals, Simon?

　　Simon: Well, Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

　　Daming: What do you do on Thanksgiving Day?

　　Simon: We always have a special meal. It’s a big family dinner.

　　Daming: That’s good.

　　Simon: On the Thanksgiving Day, we say ”thank-you” for our food, family and friends.

　　Daming: That sounds nice.

　　Simon: And after Thanksgiving dinner, we watch a big football game on TV.

　　Daming: That’s great! I think I like Thanksgiving, too.

　　二、教學對象：小學六年級學生

　　三、學習目標：

　　（一）語言知識

　　1 能理解、認讀生詞：festival, special, meal, sound。

　　2. 能理解和認讀下面三個句子：

　　(1)Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

　　(2)We always have a special meal.

　　(3)We say‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.

　　（二）語言技能目標

　　1. 能閱讀理解課文；

　　2. 能模仿朗讀課文。

　　3. 能努力猜測festival, special, meal, sound等生詞和句子We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for your food, family and friends.”的語義；

　　4. 能用口頭運用”We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.”這些句子介紹相關節(jié)日的活動

　　（三）情感態(tài)度目標：

　　1.能集中注意力認真觀察本課生詞和新句子所在的語境，并通過聯(lián)想在語境和語義之間建立起聯(lián)系；

　　2. 能談論和描述課文所介紹的節(jié)日，并產生對其他的西方節(jié)日的興趣。

　　3．能在積極參與活動、和他人合作完成任務的`過程中獲得學習的樂趣和學習成就感。

　　四、教學重點難點：

　　（一）重點：

　　1．基本能聽懂、會讀festival, special, meal, sound。

　　2. 能理解和認讀句子”We always have a special meal.” ”We say‘ thank-you’ for your food, family and friends.”

　　（二）難點：

　　運用本課的句子描述相關的節(jié)日的主要活動。

　　五、教學方法：

　　(1) 情景教學法：在課堂中創(chuàng)設真實或模擬的情景，幫助學生在猜測、模仿、等過程中理解、模仿和運用生詞和新句子。

　　(2) 任務型語言教學：設計任務型活動，讓學生在完成任務的過程中學會運用Thanksgiving is my favourite festival. / We always have a special meal./We say’ thank-you’ for your food, family and friends. 來描述節(jié)日的活動。

　　(3)直觀教學法、提問法:精講多練，充分發(fā)揮學生的主體作用，在活動中，通過合作學習，建立團隊意識和集體責任感。
