the palm and may make country houses gay,
lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
and we hear aye birds tune this merry lay,

榆柳呀山楂，打扮著(zhù)田舍人家，
羊羔嬉游，牧笛兒整日在吹奏，

the fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
